What to do right now
Water leak or burst pipe
- Shut off the main water valve. It's often where the line enters the house, in the garage, or at the meter near the street.
- Turn off the water heater (breaker for electric, pilot to "off" for gas) if the leak is near it or the main is off for long.
- Keep water away from electrical. If water is near outlets or the panel, stay clear and shut off power at the breaker only if it's safe to reach.
- Move valuables and take photos for insurance.
- Call us: 727-732-4357.
A/C stopped cooling
- Check the thermostat: set to Cool, below room temperature, fresh batteries.
- Check the breakers for the indoor and outdoor units.
- Swap a dirty filter. A clogged filter can freeze the coil.
- Look for ice or water. Ice on the lines or a full drain pan? Turn the system off so it can thaw.
- Keep people and pets cool: close blinds, use fans, drink water. If someone shows signs of heat illness, call 911.
- Call us: 727-732-4357.
Smell gas? Leave the house, don't flip switches, and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Then call us about the appliance.

Do you really answer at night and on weekends?
Yes. Our emergency line, 727-732-4357, is answered 24/7: nights, weekends, and holidays. We'll talk through what's happening and tell you when we can get there.
Is a broken A/C an emergency in Florida?
It can be. In Tampa Bay heat, a house without A/C can get dangerously hot, especially for older adults, infants, people with health conditions, and pets. If anyone shows signs of heat illness, call 911 first. Then call us.
Do you charge more for after-hours calls?
Ask us when you call. We'll tell you up front how after-hours work is billed before we head out, so there are no surprises.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Water you can't stop, a sewer backup into the house, a leaking water heater, no water at all, or a gas smell near a gas water heater (leave the house and call your gas utility or 911 first). If you're not sure, call. We'll help you decide.
